The West Elementary PTO supports many of the programs at West Elementary.  There are over 20 Curriculum Based Programs provided every year by the PTO: 

• Science and Technology: More than ten programs annually to enrich a student's understanding of Math, Science, Biology, and Technology
  
• History, Culture and Geography: Providing a greater knowledge of Global Relations, History, Anthropology, Humanities and Literature
  
• Music, Art, Drama and Dance: Exploration of the visual and performing arts
  
• WERAWC: A week-long West Elementary Readers and Writers Conference, with involvement by professional authors and illustrators to educate students about the processes of publishing books.
